Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the city's iconic Floating Bridge will be closed for a period of five weeks beginning Monday, April 17th, 2023, for major maintenance work. The bridge, which connects the historic districts of Deira and Bur Dubai, will be closed in both directions.
Traffic Rerouting Plan
To minimize traffic disruptions during the closure, the RTA has developed an integrated plan to reroute traffic to alternative roads and crossings.
