Manchester United Announce New Coaching Staff Appointments

Adam Lawrence and Dan Ransom Join Academy Setup

Manchester United have appointed Adam Lawrence as Head of Player Development for the Under-13 to Under-16 age groups. Lawrence has worked with the club for 15 years, most recently as the Lead Foundation Phase Coach. He will be responsible for overseeing the development of young players in the academy, with a focus on creating a positive learning environment and helping them reach their potential.

Dan Ransom Appointed Lead Academy Psychologist

In addition, Manchester United have also appointed Dan Ransom as Lead Academy Psychologist. Ransom has worked with the club for the past three years as an Academy Psychologist, and he will now be responsible for providing psychological support to players and staff across all age groups.

The appointments of Lawrence and Ransom are part of a wider restructuring of Manchester United's academy, which has been ongoing since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager in 2018.

Other recent appointments to the academy staff include Paul McShane and Tom Huddlestone, who have both been hired as coaches. McShane has played over 500 games in the Premier League, while Huddlestone has made over 300 appearances in the top flight.
