Leicester City Appoints Enzo Maresca as Manager
Maresca Returns to Premier League as Foxes Boss
Leicester City have appointed Enzo Maresca as their new manager on a deal.
Maresca, 44, returns to the Premier League after a successful spell as assistant coach at Manchester City, where he helped the club win a treble of the Premier League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup in 2021.
The Italian has also managed Ascoli and Parma in his native country, as well as Sevilla in Spain and Olympiacos in Greece.
Maresca replaces Brendan Rodgers, who was sacked last week after a poor run of results in the Premier League.
Leicester are currently 12th in the table, just three points above the relegation zone.
Maresca's first game in charge will be against Arsenal at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
