Red Lobster has filed paperwork in a Florida federal court revealing that restaurant chain's new owner is RL Purchaser LLC, a stalking horse bidder.
NEW YORK, July 23 (Reuters) - Red Lobster is moving closer to a bankruptcy sale that would put lenders including Fortress Investment Group LLC in control of the world's largest seafood restaurant chain.
Red Lobster Management LLC on July 22 filed its designation of successful bidder paperwork with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Red Lobster is finally getting a new owner. The world's largest seafood chain is likely going to be acquired by Fortress Investment Group.
